It's the tooth of a 7 foot long Bull Shark that swam the Gulf of Mexico approximately 11,052 years ago.

 heard that Astrophysicist and Rock legend Brian May of Queen would sometimes use pennies as guitar picks. I thought that was a neat idea, and would certainly affect the tone so I decided to try it out.

Only I didn't have any pennies, so I went with a shark tooth.
